Members complete identity verification, and every home goes through a documentation review and listing approval before it appears. These checks build confidence across the community, though they are not a guarantee.

Home swapping, explained
What is home swapping?
Home swapping is a way to travel by exchanging your home with another member of the community. Instead of paying for a hotel, you stay in a real, lived-in home and, in return, another member may stay in yours.
Do I have to swap on the same dates?
No. You can arrange a reciprocal swap on the same dates, agree a non-simultaneous swap on different dates, or use an SHH Key for a one-way stay when a direct exchange does not suit both members.
Do I need to own my home to join?
You need the right to offer your home for an exchange. During setup you confirm this as part of listing your home, and the details are reviewed before your listing is published.
What happens after I send an exchange request?
The host receives your request and can accept, decline or ask a question through secure messaging. Once both members agree the dates and terms, the exchange is confirmed and you can prepare for your stay.
