A stay with your host at home
During a Hosted Stay, the host remains in their home. Private and shared spaces vary by listing, so check the details and discuss your needs before agreeing the stay. A Hosted Stay does not require a return swap or use SHH Keys.
How to arrange a Hosted Stay

Find a Hosted Stay
Choose Hosted Stay in the Browse Homes exchange-type filter and look for a home that suits your dates and guest numbers.

Check the spaces and house rules
Confirm the sleeping arrangements, whether the bathroom is private or shared, which areas you can use and the host’s house rules.
- 03
Agree the details
Send a Hosted Stay request. Agree dates, arrival arrangements and any declared contributions with the host before the stay.

Stay and review
Enjoy your time with the host present, respect the shared spaces and leave a review after the completed stay.
Know what to expect before you travel
- The host remains in the home throughout your Hosted Stay.
- Check private and shared spaces, guest capacity, availability and house rules with the host.
- Any contribution, such as cleaning or linen, must be agreed before the stay and paid directly to the host. Swap Holiday Homes does not collect or process these payments.

Will I have a private bedroom and bathroom?
Arrangements vary by home. Check the listing and confirm the sleeping arrangements, bathroom access and shared areas directly with the host before agreeing your stay.
Do I need to swap homes or use SHH Keys?
No. A Hosted Stay does not require a return visit to your home and does not use SHH Keys. Any declared contribution must be agreed directly with the host before the stay.
