1. Introduction

Welcome to Swapholidayhomes. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform, including membership, home listings, and exchanges.
By using our website swapholidayhomes.com, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Membership & Fees

2.1 One-Time Only Admin Fee

• A one-time non-refundable administration fee of £25 is required upon sign-up.

• This fee covers:

  • Account verification

  • Security checks

  • Initial platform setup

2.2 Subscription Fees – Early Founder Members

• After the first 6 months of membership, a yearly subscription fee will apply.

• The subscription fee is £60 per year (instead of £120).

• The fee will be charged automatically unless cancelled.

• Users will receive a renewal reminder 30 days before renewal with the option to cancel.

2.3 Payment Methods

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal.

• Users must ensure their payment details are valid to avoid service disruptions.

2.4 Cancellation & Refunds

• The one-time admin fee is non-refundable.

• If a member cancels mid-year, no partial refunds will be provided.

• Members can cancel at any time, but to cancel renewal, they must do so before the renewal date.

• Once the transaction is completed, no refund will be provided.

3. User Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate and truthful information about themselves and their property.

• Listings must comply with local laws and regulations related to property rentals or exchanges.

• Users must respect exchange agreements and maintain open communication with exchange partners.

• Any fraudulent activity will result in immediate account suspension.

4. Home Exchange Process

• Users can browse and connect with home swap partners globally.

• Exchange agreements are made directly between users, and Swapholidayhomes is not liable for any disputes.

• Users are encouraged to have and review insurance options to cover potential damages.

• A secure messaging system is available for users to communicate before confirming swaps.

5. Privacy & Security

• User data is processed following GDPR regulations (see Privacy Policy).

• Personal details, such as exact addresses, remain hidden until an exchange is confirmed.

• Users must not share personal contact details publicly on the platform.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

• Swap Holiday Homes is a facilitator and does not take responsibility for any disputes, damages, or losses incurred during an exchange.

• Users must conduct their own due diligence before confirming an exchange.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings and recommend users verify details with exchange partners.

7. Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• Users engaging in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity will be banned immediately.

8. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these terms from time to time.

• Significant changes will be communicated via email.

• Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
